After issues with another company, I used Blue Ridge Services when my AC was freezing up leaving my house heating up. They were able to get onsite quickly, diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly, and showed me all the other things that should have been inspected by the previous company but wasn't. Not only do I have better running A/C now, but I can plan for maintenance in the future. Refreshing to have pro's that aren't about over charging while under-delivering and help with planning for the future.
Blue Ridge installed a new ductless HVAC system in my home last May 2021. They were my third estimate, and offered a great price which was installed within the month. I love the system. Its quiet, matches my decor, and is cheaper to run than the window AC units I had, and the wood and space heaters I used in the winter. I'm also appreciative of them because they installed a chimney liner and pipe along with new filter and shut off valve so I could run my Kuma oil stove for heat during power outages. I had gotten that stove brand new to replace an old one in 2014 and couldn't find anyone willing to hook it up for me so it sit for 8 years. One man didn't even know what it was. So now I can settle into old age and just hit a switch for heat and air. I loved everyone and everything at BRS from the ladies in the office, the office decor, the prices, the service, the promptness, the gents who installed everything, and their sales manager Randy. He and they made me feel special. Am also always impressed by anyone willing to go under my house into a low tight dark crawl space. Am probably going to get a whole home backup generator from them, too. My comfort is their business... Well I'm truly comforted. Based on my experience with them, I highly recommend them for your heating and air needs.
I called Blue Ridge Services yesterday concerning some electrical problems that we were having with some lighting in 3 rooms in our house. They came within an hour. We have an old school fuse box. They fixed the problem in a honest and efficient way. They were very polite and professional. We intend to use them for all our future service calls. Thanks
Our A/C unit stopped producing cold air mid day Sunday; I called the Blue Ridge number as they installed the Carrier unit. Got a call back Sunday PM and we agreed on a Monday appointment. Got a call Monday morning, and was first on the list. Unit was repaired and back in service by mid Monday morning. Phone calls were managed promptly, service was provided when promised, and unit was restored to working order. Pricing was about what I would have expected, not cheap, but fair. I give them 5 stars - Monday's high temperature reached 94, that might be part of it!
